1960's Ranch Home just off Central and Northern
Kitchen Remodel & Wall Removal
This mid century ranch home is in a great neighborhood in north central Phoenix off Central and Northern. It’s owners love it for its convenient location and large yard. It’s biggest challenge was the kitchen area was diced up into several small areas. Al of these rooms were separated from the homes ample living room.
Our homeowners wanted to open up the space and create a modern style kitchen that would work for both every-day and for entertaining.
The room had several load bearing walls to restructure before we could open the space up to reveal their new open kitchen.
We chose classic shaker style cabinets that lend themselves nicely to a modern look. Be sure to notice the before photo below to appreciate how major the changes were.
All new stainless steel appliances and creating a recessed nook for the refrigerator bring new life to what was a tired cramped space.
Colorful glass tile adds life and whimsy to this unique new kitchen.
A concrete finished pony wall creates a striking backdrop for this new island.
Check out the before photo below to appreciate the difference in the feel of this new open space.
Formerly a cut off space, the dining area is now included in the new open kitchen area.
This shot shows how divided the kitchen, breakfast area and dining room were from the living area.
Prior to our kitchen remodel this kitchen had the original tired cabinets in a cramped outdated configuration.
