Southwestern Guest Bathroom Remodel Designed Inspired by a Hand Painted Sink

This Southwestern Guest Bathroom Remodel was one phase of a total home remodel that included new engineered wood floors throughout the home and including a complete kitchen remodel to create a more open floor plan.

Our inspiration for design for this Southwestern Guest Bathroom Remodel was this beautifully hand-painted flowered sink that the family brought back from a holiday trip that they took to Mexico recently. The Guest Bathroom update included installing a new deep white jetted bathtub for guests to relax in and a new top flushing toilet with 2 buttons. We also refinished the 2 door vanity sink base, its matching mirror frame in a blue color that we selected from a hand-painted flower in the Mexican sink, we also added a shelf in the same color above the toilet to display some decorative items. (all of which coordinate nicely with the sinks vibrant colors).

We selected 4″ x 4″ porcelain terracotta colored tiles for both the vanity counter-top and around the shower walls to coordinate beautifully with the colors of the hand -painted sink as well as adding to the Hacienda Style of the Guest Bathroom.

All of the faucets and the fixtures that were selected for this Guest Bathroom remodel came from The Kohler Company, even including the white jetted tub. The Vanity and Shower / Tub faucets were all finished in Brushed Nickel as well as the Bath Accessories.

A Guest Bathroom remodel similar in size to this one, would have a budget range of $20,000 to $28,000.
