The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) named Homework Remodels in Phoenix, Arizona, 2020 South Central Regional CotY Winner in the Entire House $250,000 – $500,000 category in its’ annual awards competition.

The Project

The 2020 NARI Regional CotY award-winning project, aptly named Biltmore Beauty has a million-dollar view of the mountains and space for effortless entertaining. Through the worn finishes and underutilized spaces, the owners could see the potential to personalize the house. Dedicated to their goal for luxury living during their empty nest years meant getting all the projects out of the way to fully enjoy this resort-style setting.

“We are honored to have received the NARI South Central CotY Award in the Entire House $250,000-$500,00 category. Every area of this remodeling project received the necessary TLC to provide modern finish elements with functional space adjustments and current lifestyle enhancements. This special project will provide for these part-time Arizona residents a serene space to Winter in.  Remodeling is such a satisfying process for us, we truly enjoy helping our clients love their home,” said Sheila Lanier, Lead Designer, Homework Remodels.

Each year, NARI presents CotY awards to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The CotY Awards are the highest form of recognition by industry leaders and peers. NARI received nearly 500 entries from across the United States representing over $138 million in remodeling projects.

“This year’s submissions were outstanding, making the job of our esteemed judges very difficult,” said Tracy Wright, Senior Director of Membership and Chapter Services at NARI.

The judging panel representing industry experts selected winners based on problem-solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and degree of difficulty.

The CotY Awards allow us to celebrate our members who are committed to design, best practices, integrity, high standards, and professionalism. NARI will honor all Regional Winners and announce the National Winners at NARI’s Evening of Excellence on April 24, 2020, at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach, FL.
