The challenge: An enclosed kitchen kept the cook apart from guests and limited the connections between the home’s gathering spaces.
The change: Opening the adjoining rooms made space for a standing peninsula, custom storage, and a separate wet bar. Structural work, ventilation, and lighting came together around a more sociable way to cook and entertain.

A familiar home.

The challenge: A former rental needed to become a comfortable part-time residence, with better everyday function and places to gather inside and out.
The change: The vaulted wood ceiling remained, while a refreshed stone fireplace, improved kitchen, accessible primary bathroom, and renewed patios brought the home’s next chapter together.
