You’ll be supported every step of the way by your dedicated designer and our Design-Build System. From selecting materials and finishes to exploring layout options, we collaborate closely to ensure every detail aligns with your expectations. Our thoughtful and attentive approach ensures that your voice is heard throughout the process.

Step 2: Initial Consultation

Our process begins with a short, informative phone call to learn more about your home, goals, and any specific challenges or ideas you may have. This call also provides an opportunity for you to ask questions about our experience, process, and past projects.

If the conversation indicates a good fit between your needs and our services, we’ll schedule a no-obligation in-home consultation. During this visit, we:

• Tour your existing space and evaluate its layout and potential
• Define the initial scope of work based on your needs
• Learn more about how you use your space and what improvements matter most
• Answer your questions regarding design, budgeting, and construction
• Share budget ranges based on similar, completed projects for your consideration

This consultation helps both you and our team determine if we’re aligned in terms of personality, design approach, and project budget. If we all feel confident in moving forward, we begin the Design and Pre-Construction Phase, all a part of the Design-Build System.

Step 3: Collaborative Design Phase

In this phase of our Design-Build System, your vision starts coming to life. We collaborate with you to refine layouts and choose finishes, fixtures, and features that reflect your style and needs. Together, we review cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, and paint options. You’ll also get to preview your updated space through renderings or 3D visuals. Budget check-ins are built into the process, helping ensure each design decision aligns with your goals and investment. By the end of this phase, all selections, materials, and layouts are finalized, and your scope of work is clearly defined. Our detailed, collaborative approach sets the stage for a smooth construction phase with a clear, cohesive plan in place.

Step 4: Build Phase & Project Execution

With the finalized design and selections complete, we move into the Build Phase of our Design-Build System. All approved plans, drawings, and budgets are compiled into a detailed Construction Agreement that guides every aspect of the project. This structured approach ensures everyone—from our team to our trusted trades—is aligned on expectations, timelines, and deliverables.

Your dedicated Project Manager plays a key role in the Design-Build System, overseeing daily operations, coordinating trades, monitoring progress, and ensuring top-tier craftsmanship. They are your main point of contact, keeping you informed and supported. Your designer also remains actively involved, consulting on key decisions and helping maintain the original design vision throughout construction.

Our Design-Build process starts with a friendly, informative phone call. If it feels like a match, we’ll schedule a no-obligation in-home consultation. This important visit lets us explore your space and begin outlining the Scope of Work. We’ll also get a clearer understanding of your lifestyle, design goals, and personal preferences.

During the consultation, we’ll take time to answer your design and construction questions. We’ll also share realistic budget ranges based on similar projects we’ve completed. If you’re comfortable with our team, design process, and estimated investment, we’ll move into the design and pre-construction phase of your Design-Build journey.

The Design Phase will take our preliminary concepts and budget to the finished design and fixed budget with all selections made. We work hand-in-hand to collaborate with you on all details of the design to include:

• Floor plan options
• Appliance Selection
• Cabinet styles and color choices
• Countertop material and slab selection
• Tile selections including decorative accents for backsplashes, floors or showers
• Plumbing features including styles, finishes, and locations
• Electrical features, lighting fixtures, and their placement
• Coordinate color choices for all features and walls

Our goal is to create a kitchen, bathroom, or addition that you will be proud of and your family and friends will enjoy.  At Design Phase completion the plan is in place: every product is specified, each trade partner is on board, the drawings are ready and the budget is set and approved by you.  Time to execute the plan.

The Plan refers to our detailed specification documents, which include product selections, scope of work, drawings, and budget breakdowns. These documents become part of the Construction Contract and serve as the roadmap for your remodel. During the Design Phase, our Production team collaborates closely with the Designer to ensure that all construction requirements are addressed. This teamwork ensures a smooth transition from design to build, staying true to our proven Design-Build system.

Throughout the Build Phase, our Project Manager is responsible for executing the details of the plan.  The Project Manager is your day-to-day hands-on leader of your remodel and point of contact.
