This custom kitchen has been well used and cared for by the homeowners for years. Renovation was motivated by propane fueled appliances that would die halfway through cooking the Thanksgiving dinner.  Thus, a new cooktop and oven was a priority for this kitchen remodel.  Also on the wish list were Subzero refrigerator and freezer columns in an area that was under-utilized in the current cabinet layout. The solid wood door and drawer fronts of the cabinets needed some serious repair, so we replaced all cabinets to complement the new space plan.

The new space plan maximizes the functionality of each station for the kitchen with interior storage solutions in most of the base cabinets. The glass door fronts create dimension and texture with the pops of color and shape within the cabinet.

The dark hood over the new stovetop and dark island adds drama and a focal point with the unique large format porcelain backsplash and island counter surface.  The ‘jewelry’ of the space is the use of faceted brushed gold pulls for all the cabinets. A stunning compilation of form, function and style brings this new space to life for our homeowners.
