About Homework Remodels

Integrity-Centered Design-Build Remodeling in Greater Phoenix

Homework Remodels is an integrity-centered residential design-build remodeling firm serving the Greater Phoenix area, specializing in whole-home renovations, additions, ADUs, and architectural reconfiguration. We serve homes of every era — from historic neighborhoods and mid-century modern properties to newer residences ready for thoughtful transformation.

Remodeling is one of the most personal decisions a homeowner can make. It involves trust, investment, disruption, and vision. For more than two decades, our work has been built around honoring that trust with clarity, preparation, and steady communication.

We believe thoughtful preparation creates calmer remodeling experiences. When design, budgeting, and construction are aligned before work begins, homeowners move forward with confidence rather than uncertainty. That alignment is not accidental — it is structured.

A Disciplined Design-Build Approach

Unlike traditional project delivery methods that separate design and construction, our approach integrates both under one accountable team. Homeowners who want to understand the distinction often begin by comparing design-build vs. traditional remodeling.

From initial consultation through pre-construction planning and final construction, projects move forward within a unified system designed to reduce confusion and improve coordination.

Preparation comes first. Before construction begins, we work carefully through design development, scope clarification, and budgeting conversations so expectations are realistic and decisions are informed. This disciplined structure protects timelines, protects budgets, and protects relationships.

Integrity is not simply a value we reference — it shapes how we work. It guides how we prepare projects before construction begins. It influences how we discuss budgets, evaluate tradeoffs, and manage expectations. It defines how we communicate when decisions become complex. We believe that honesty, structure, and thoughtful planning create better long-term outcomes.

Experience Across Homes of Every Era

Our portfolio reflects the architectural diversity of the Greater Phoenix area.

We bring particular experience to numerous historic districts, including projects in the Willo Historic District, where thoughtful updates must respect the character and structural realities of older homes.

We also guide homeowners through carefully planned mid-century modern home remodeling projects that preserve architectural identity while improving performance and livability.

At the same time, much of our work involves transforming homes built in the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s — reconfiguring layouts, modernizing kitchens and bathrooms, expanding living space, and improving flow for today’s lifestyles.

Our team designs and builds detached casitas and ADUs, creates thoughtful additions, and reshapes interiors through architectural reconfiguration that changes how families live within their homes. We also guide comprehensive projects such as whole-home remodeling in Scottsdale, where clarity and preparation are essential to success.

Whether restoring character, modernizing structure, or expanding living space, each project begins with listening and moves forward through a disciplined plan.

We proudly serve homeowners throughout the region, including communities such as Scottsdale and Tempe, as well as surrounding areas across the Greater Phoenix metro.

Their approach to remodeling is shaped not only by professional credentials, but by conviction. As a Christ-centered leadership team, they believe integrity is not optional in construction — it is foundational. Commitments are meant to be honored. Communication should be clear. Budgets should be discussed honestly. Difficult conversations should be handled directly and respectfully.

For them, faith is not a marketing theme but a guiding principle. It shapes how clients are treated, how promises are kept, and how responsibility is carried throughout the life of a project.
